No Data Transfer to Third Parties

In connection with data processing for sending newsletters, there is no transfer of data to third parties. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter. The newsletters contain what are known as tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic embedded in emails sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and log file analysis. This allows for statistical evaluation of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Through the embedded tracking pixel, the data processor can determine whether and when an email was opened by a data subject and which links in the email were accessed by the data subject. Your email address, which we received in connection with your registration on our website or through customer contact forms, is also used exclusively for direct advertising in the form of our newsletter, provided you have not objected to this use. You can object to the use of your email address at any time without incurring costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates. Your objection (and thus the cancellation of our newsletter) can be exercised by sending a corresponding message to our email address (see imprint).

Legal Basis for Data Processing

The legal basis for processing data after the user registers for the newsletter is the user's consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Purpose of Data Processing

The collection of the user's email address is to deliver the newsletter. The collection of other personal data during the registration process is to prevent misuse of the services or the used email address.

Duration of Storage

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for achieving the purpose of its collection. The user's email address will be stored as long as the newsletter subscription is active. Other personal data collected during the registration process is generally deleted after a period of seven days.

Right to Object and Removal

The newsletter subscription can be terminated by the user at any time. For this purpose, a corresponding link is included in every newsletter. This also enables the withdrawal of consent for the storage of personal data collected during the registration process.
